Ongoing service needed in the following areas:

In addition to the specific events listed in the calendar below, there are several areas where you can serve. These include administrative and organizational help in program setup and administration. Below is a list of areas that you can serve.
  • Set up of spinal screenings: This involves making contacts at retail stores, churches, schools, and other higher traffic areas and asking if they want to have free spinals and nerve system screenings set up at their facility.
  • Contact churches for Faith and Health programs: The Faith and Health program is an educational program with screenings designed for churches and other Christian organizations. This is also a potential fundraiser for those groups. Help is needed to contact churches and groups to ask if they want such a program at their church.
  • Set up and administrate lunch and dinner talks: Lunch and dinner talks require contacting a restaurant, (or church if they can handle food) setting up of the event. Placement of lead boxes and follow up of potential attendees. At the event screenings are done and appointments made. More than one person is needed to help in each of these programs.
  • Create Media promotions such as videos, flyers, and social networking, for clinic and various events: If you feel you have an artistic ability and would like to help spread the message, then this is an area you can help. We need those who can create print items such as fliers, lead boxes etc, and we need people who can work with multimedia such as video and social networking. Online resources such as Facebook and YouTube will be used and having computer programs such as Photoshop, or video editing would be helpful here.

We Welcome Life University Students as Practice Members

Life University Bell TowerWe cherish the opportunity to help future doctors of chiropractic and serve you with specific scientific chiropractic care.  We do not take this responsibility lightly, and we realize that how we care for you, influences how you will someday care for others, and will impact the future of chiropractic caregivers, and the thousands you will someday serve.

This is why we do not cut any corners with your chiropractic care. You receive the same highest quality care that we offer to every other practice member in our clinic. However, the one difference is that we do not accept money from chiropractic students. This does not mean your care is free. In fact, your care has a very high value and we expect you to offer  your service in exchange for our care.

The service that we expect in return is to help spread the message of chiropractic to as many people as possible. There is no greater privilege, or joy than to change a life by introducing someone to principled chiropractic care. This is where we ask you to serve.

There are many ways in which you can be of service. Some involve helping at the clinic with Doctor’s reports. Some involve helping in the office when needed.  You can also serve by  handing out special cards or flyers, or assisting at screenings, shows and lectures. Another area of service are in administration and organization of programs and talks, such as with our “Kid’s Day” program and our “Faith and Health” events.

Some forms of serving involve helping to get other chiropractors excited by assisting with the Georgia Chiropractic Council’s (GCC) “Philosophy in Practice” nights, or the annual “Philosophy on the Farm” event or other programs through the International Chiropractors Association (ICA).

Not all service is glamorous, will seem exciting, or sometimes very interesting.  However, all service helps spread the chiropractic message and change lives.
